IYFA Families -
Irondale Youth Football Association is a non-profit organization that relies on fundraising to help pay for the costs of fields, equipment, officials, scholarships, etc. We are asking families to volunteer their time to help us earn money for our organization. The Minnesota Vikings need volunteers to run concessions stands at home games. We only need 4 people per game, and the pay out at the end of the season for our organization is extremely beneficial. Please click on the Sign Up Genius below or see your email for more information.
Anyone 18 and over can sign up to help out - older siblings, family members, or neighbors. Get a group together and have some fun all while helping out youth football!
Please use the Sports Engine App for all practice and game times and locations. It is important to mark your player's attendance to help the coach know how to plan, but to also help with any contact tracing we may need to do. Thank you in advance!
Football practices will start the week of August 9th (M, Tu, Th from 6 to 8 PM).
The first game for grades 3 - 6 will likely be the week of August 23rd. No games will be held over Labor Day weekend.
Games will start for our 7th and 8th grade teams after Labor Day.
Parents and athletes need to manage their SportsEngine accounts to ensure they get the most out of their Irondale Youth Football experience during each sporting season. With their accounts properly configured, athletes and their families will receive communications according to their preferences and be able to complete registrations more efficiently. SportsEngine has created a Team Management Guide for Parents and Athletes that will help our members with frequently asked questions about our website and mobile app.
Download the user guide on the right or check out the Irondale High School Football Parent Page (scroll to the bottom) for useful tips and how-to's.
