Irondale Gold earns its 3rd shutout!!
Great job by the boys tonight, and it is good to see everybody bouncing back from the two separate weeks of Laurentian. We were rusty on Monday, much better on Tuesday, and very good on tonight. On this trend I expect everyone to be Excellent on Saturday. Because, next up is Irondale Maroon on Saturday 1:30 at Edgewood. I expect everyone to show up and to play their hardest. This is a great game for our team, and our class as a whole.

Irondale Gold shuts out Fridley to move to 1-0
A great job all around today. Everybody showed up ready to play hard and it showed from the first snap. Defense was all over the place making plays, and offense was controlling the line of scrimmage. When teams do that, wins will follow.

Schedule Updates
There were some last minute changes made to our schedules, however they are pretty minor.
1st, This Saturday our game versus Fridley was moved from 1 PM to 8:30 AM. Please plan accordingly. The game is still at Fridley Commons Park.
2nd, A Brooklyn Park team was dropped on our schedule and replaced with a Centennial team on 10/6. The time and location is unchanged.
Practice locations will change on 9/12 and forward. The location is still TBD. Field locations are all on the Website on the Home page under Practice and Game locations.

Week #3 and other misc. items
Week #3 and 4 scrimmages showed that we have gotten better, but we still have some room for improvement.
Some house keeping items everyone needs to take note of:
1st, we are NOT practicing on Labor day, even though the calendar says we are
2nd, we have a scrimmage with the MV Raiders on September 6th at highview (in place of practice)
3rd, Game dates have been added to the calendar
