Ben Fuller Chosen as New Irondale High School Football Coach

Ron Broberg, Activities Director at Irondale High School, shared this information on Friday, May 2, 2014 with the high school booster parents and players.  We look forward with working with Ben to build a strong program from the youth up to the high school level!

"Booster parents and players:

Irondale High School is excited to announce that Ben Fuller has been named as the Knights Head Varsity Football Coach.  Coach Fuller has several years of coaching experience at the high school level starting in 2004.  His most recent position has been the Offensive Coordinator and Head Assistant Varsity Coach at Highland Park High School where last fall his team competed in section finals play.

In addition to coaching football, Fuller will be a regular presence in our school, as he also joins Irondale as a special education teacher – a position he held at Highland Park High School.

I know Coach Fuller is anxious to meet our school community. He will be working with the Irondale High School Boosters and Youth Program in the near future in order to continue to grow a strong football community.

Please join me in congratulating Coach Fuller on his new role with us, and let’s give him a warm Irondale Knights welcome.

Sincerely,

Ron Broberg
Activities Director"

2013 Wrap Up: Congratulations on a great season!

A message from association president, Mark Strong:

As the 2013 season comes to an end, I would like to thank every parent, coach and player for their time, dedication, and passion. We have had a great year with success and/or improvement throughout each grade. IYFA would not function without each parent, coach, and player's energy.

I am proud to tell you that there are a number of teams who's success I would like you all to help celebrate. For the first time Irondale youth football has 4 teams playing in championship games. Please help cheer on Irondale teams this Sunday.
